Albac and Arieseni localities are situated on Ariesului Valley, in a special mountain zone, near of the Campeni city. It is the place where was born Vasile Nicola-Ursu, called Horea (1730), who near the Avram Iancu, Closca and Crisan are the most representative figures of Apuseni Mountains. In this area Huda lui Papara Cave is well-known, the most conglomerated natural place from Europe. This cave is penetrated by a brook and could be arrive here by hike, on stairs, or by boat on river. In surroundings of Albac and Arieseni are the Apuseni Mountains, which give a personal beauty of area. The most visited places are: Ponorului Fortress, Ruginoasa Hole, Ghetarul from Scarisoara, Romanian Galeries, Ionel’s Gate, The Bears’ Cave, Horea’s Memorial House, Valul Miresei Waterfall, etc. The main occupation of local people are the wood processing, being recognized the housework products and the animal’s rise. The tourists are invited to participe on household activities like: gathering the hays, the cops, animals nutrition in farm, jam and sirup preparate. Albac is famous as the place where you could eat healthy: fruits, vegetables, milk products and the fresh meals are products which are preparated in the own household.
